Position Schedule Options
- Schedule: 9am-3pm Monday-Friday ;
- Pay Range: Part-time $19-$22/hr. (dependent on experience, education and the interview process)
As an Part Time teacher every day is different! However, typical duties will include –
- Building relationships and communicating with parents to provide the best child care for their children. We encourage our staff to foster those important relationships that contribute to our success.
- Helping our programs be the best they can be! Verifying quality and compliance standards are met by organizing program materials and documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
- Regularly checking in with the Program Manager about personal and child performance metrics to ensure human growth. Our leaders care deeply about the development of students AND community
We recognize you’ll come with your own talents and skills. In addition, please come with –
- ***1-year experience working as a teacher in a licensed preschool program (required)
- ***Completion of 12 ECE units (Course examples per licensing: Child/Human Growth and Development, Child/Family/Community, Child and Family Relations and/or Programs/Curriculum) (Required)
- Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive discipline
- REQUIRED: Ability to meet state-specific requirements; complete LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate/Negative TB Test
